Privacy Policy

      BookHaul does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything you enter into the app stays on your device.
    

1. Overview

BookHaul ("the app") is a subscription book box tracker developed by Karen Gault (DingoRanchLabs). This privacy policy explains how the app handles your information.

2. Data collection

BookHaul collects no personal data whatsoever. The app does not:

Require you to create an account or sign in
Collect your name, email address, or any identifying information
Track your location
Use analytics or crash reporting services
Display advertisements
Transmit any data to external servers

3. Data storage

All data you enter into BookHaul — including subscription names, box details, prices, and statuses — is stored locally on your device using SQLite. This data never leaves your device.

Images you upload for subscription icons are stored in your device's local file system and are not shared or uploaded anywhere.

4. Permissions

BookHaul requests the following permissions:

Notifications — to send you optional reminders about skip deadlines and payment dates. You can enable or disable these at any time in the app's Settings page or in your device's notification settings.
Photo library access — only used when you choose to upload a custom image for a subscription. Images are stored locally on your device and not transmitted anywhere.

5. Third-party services

BookHaul does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services.

The app contains optional links to:

Ko-Fi (ko-fi.com) — an external donation platform. Visiting this link is entirely optional and subject to their own privacy policy.
Google Forms — used for optional feedback submission. Submitting feedback is entirely optional and subject to Google's privacy policy.

6. Children's privacy

BookHaul does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Since no data is collected at all, the app is safe for all ages.

7. Changes to this policy

If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date. Since the app collects no data, any changes are unlikely to affect your privacy.
